Samsons Exhaust for your Soft-tail. Personally I think this Exhaust was just made for the Cross Bones. This was the first Samsons exhaust
I’ve ever installed. The finish is perfect and the welds are probably the best on the market. The heat shields fit perfect and it was simple
to install the clamps.

I had to test fit the pipes a couple of times to get the spacing right. You’ll half to remove the factory spacer on the right blinker so the
tail-pipe won’t hit it. The left side should be done also so it looks right. Just take off the fender mounts covers. Then take off tail light
and unplug the blinkers. Then remove the two pens from each plug. You can then unscrew the blinker mounting bolt and remove the spacer. Find
yourself two new mounting bolts that are shorter and attached the blinker to the cover without a spacer.
The look still works with the factory style of this bike. Plus now it’s a chopped and cut bike like it’s suppose to be from the factory.

I’ve fixed the blinker issues at the rear fender so now back to the pipe. The pipe needed some spacers added to the mounting spots. I did
to keep the pipes lined up from the header back to the rear fender. This really made the final fitment look factory and almost perfect amount
of space between the pipes, as the pipes bends up at the rear. I would have liked to see Samsons have the spacers in the install kit.
The sound is so much better then the stock pipes. Nice bark to the pipes. I did add a power commander V to the bike. We really had to make
some changed to the factory wiring to get the PC V to fit under the seat cover on the Cross Bones. I’ve read this is a issue on all the
Soft-tail models. I would recommend the Thudermax Zippers self tuning ECU system from this point on.
The look is how this bike should look from the factory. This is a modern bike which was built to have a old school look. I think we really
nailed the old school look by adding the pipe system you see here now.
