2011 DYNA STREET BOB

It’s True! I traded in the 2006 Road Glide. 40,000 plus miles and lots of memories. The weight and size was starting to become a issue. I tend to ride very hard, and the size was taken its toll on my operation surgery area. So after riding a couple of Dyna’s I just like the Street Bob. It was between the Bob and Cross Bones. I couldn,t deal with the springer frontend.

I had made statements that I’d not going to change anything. Well the bike had no sound to speak of with the stock exhaust. The 96 inch motor had some good power for stock right off the floor. I will say that the setup was the worse I’ve seen on a brand new bike. I’ve already talked to the dealership and my good friend in service. I was told to go though the whole bike. Seeing as they didn’t even connect the positive Battery Cable to the Battery. The Cable was just shoved under the cover and was making contact. Bike shorted out on a ride with my friends Andy, and Len. So after being cut off by three to five cars. One Lady telling me she didn’t even hear me. I told her to open her F%&king eye’s. I decided to get some Vance and Hines Shortshots Staggered pipes. I went with the Screaming Eagle highflow big breather setup.

Not having bags after owning a bagger is harder then I thought. So I put on some Saddlemen detachable bags made for Dyna’s. They even have locks on the three latches. The only thing I don’t like is the blinker relocation mounts. I’ll be looking into changing them later next year. I also added the rear back seat offered by Harley. I added the seat to attach my Saddlemen tour pack. This will help when I need more storage space.
